I asked my deck about my development in nursing and received A Leg Up (Reversed) but felt the prosperity meaning (career) as well as the protection meaning (for reversed cards) meant something to me – seeking advice from a mentor who has been where I want to be (i have 2 in mind), who I would like help from. Help is available to me and will be there. Delegate authority, i don’t have to do anything by mself – I have a team to help me (if I can just stop stressing out and pushing them away because of my expressing my stress) if only i have trust and faith. I can not and do not have to do this by myself, this belief i have to is actually hindering me. Admitting I need help makes me vulnerable but here lies my lesson. Shift my belief and expectation and watch me go!
Using the French Cross spread with the Mary-El Tarot deck by Marie White:
My question was:
Explain/Help me understand my Birth family’s dynamics
1. Defense attorney – Temperance
Coming together and moving apart many times, changing properties each time. Until they are One. Destiny.
2. Prosecutor – The Fool (Reversed)
Hesitation, fear, worry, regret – worrying and regretting natural cycles of time – ?lifetimes. Card 1/Defense shows me it is natural and meant to be, nothing to worry about, just a progression of natural cycles.
3. Judge – The Sun
Immediately I see the judge knows the Truth, it is deep within and beyond several lifetimes yet the judge can also look to the human side of impatience and fretting and understands – to me the Sun can simultaneously live in both worlds/knowledge.
In my deck the fool began and became the Sun – it is interesting how my cards are laid and go round from Fool to Sun and there is also the Wheel of Fortune and The World – all metaphors for cycles, naturalness, evolving etc
4. Judge’s Advice – The Wheel of Fortune (Reversed)
Not handling chaos as well as should be – so taking on 1,2 & 3 and accepting and trusting in this Truth I will find I can accept and understand chaos with grace and revel in it. Be at One with it all. It is forever changing and is ultimately perfection. There is no good or evil, it is what it is.
“What is violent in reality is a gentle, willing parting of soft folds. There is no time and space.” (Notice all the lines in my cards weave in and out like waves? They are soft, smooth and curvy lines)
Survive turbulence but marvel in perfection and diversity.
5. Quintessential Essence – The World
The whole, completeness and success. Fulfillment. The playing field of life.Exploring who I am and what I am part of.
